Shortening IR (earlier called Ultrarot), invisible part of electromagnetic spectrum, which touches the long wave part (red) of the visible light and covers approximately wave lengths between 800 nm and 1 mm; this area is subdivided into IR-A (760 nm-1,5 microns), IR-B (1,5-3 microns) and IR-C (3-1000 microns). Infrared light reveals mainly as heat radiation and is measured by thermo elements, bolomers and photo cells.

Our sunlight, together with the other radiation, consists of infrared light (invisible light)! Infrared heat waves don't heat the air, but the objects within the radius of action! Practical there is no loss at the time of heat transfer!
infraSWISS radiant heating elements produce heat on the base of infrared light!
By contrast with the central heating the own heat of infrared heating elements stays preserved in the room. Thus 100% of the produced energy is preserved in the room!
Diffusion of infrared heat waves.
You can imagine infrared heat waves diffusion as you throw a hollow of rubber balls in a room. They jump uncontrolled in all directions. Everywhere the waves appear they lose a part of their power (energy), which in contrast to the rubber balls is accumulated in the floor (about 60% of heat waves are accumulated by objects. The rest (40%) are reflected in the room)! The rubber balls (infrared heat waves) jump to and fro till they spend their energy!
In this way all objects in the room, and the room itself, are turned into containers (stores), respectively in heat store. With the time and little by little accumulated energy is given in the surrounding room (with priority in the time during which is not profitably to heat the rooms)!
